Note: Voice network mode maintains iPlum Caller-ID for all iPlum calls.

II. Shared user creation

Shared user means all users will receive incoming calls for the main number and when they call out, it will show the main number as their caller-id instead of their own iPlum number.  You will setup an iPlum subscription for each user which will give them an iPlum number.

Calls: You will setup call-forwarding on main number to other user's iPlum numbers to receive calls on all lines. You will change each user caller-id to main number to show the same number when any user calls out.

Texting: Each user will be able to text from their iPlum app showing their specific iPlum number. The mobile app will not allow texting from the main number on shared accounts. If you want the shared users to do texting using the main iPlum number, they can login on the web portal using main login ID. They can use multiple web sessions for same account on different computers or browsers for texting.

Voicemail : Each user will be able to receive their direct iPlum number voicemails. The mobile app will not provide voicemails of the main number on shared accounts. If you want the shared user to access voicemail for main iPlum number, they can login on the web portal using main login ID. Additionally, for the main iPlum number voicemail settings, you can add the shared user email addresses in "Additional emails" so that they get email alert when there is a voicemail left for main iPlum number.

Steps to add shared users in your iPlum account:

  1. Login https://my.iplum.com.

  2. Click Dashboard || Users || New or Shared User (Phone/Fax).

  4. Once the user clicks the link, it will connect them to your master account and you will see them in "Users" section.
