How to create additional accounts for users?

You can create additional iPlum accounts in a primary account. Each additional account has its own iPlum number and plan.


Primary reasons of adding additional accounts


  • Give second line to other users in your organization and consolidate their billing under one primary account.

  • Generate multiple iPlum numbers with different area codes.

  • Setup a main iPlum number to ring multiple phones or users creating a virtual phone system.



Steps to add additional accounts


  • To add a new user account in your primary account:

    1. Login to iPlum portal and click “Multiple Accounts”. Create a login with either mobile phone number or email (Landline or virtual numbers not allowed when adding new accounts).

    2. The user will receive a link via mobile phone text or email in above step.

    3. Once the user clicks the link, it will take them to the page where they will enter a new password for their account.

    4. The user is now connected to your administrator account. You will be notified via email.

    5. You can assign the “Phone Plan” to the user using iPlum portal.

    6. The user would download iPlum app, login into it and start using it.



  • To attach an existing iPlum Account to your Business Team Account:

    1. Login to iPlum portal and click “Multiple Accounts”. Enter user’s existing iPlum Login-id.

    2. The user will receive a link.

    3. Once the user clicks the link, it will connect them to your administrator account. You will be notified via email.

    4. You can login to the iPlum portal and assign the “Phone Plan” to the user.

    5. You can assign the “Phone Plan” to the user using iPlum portal.

    6. The user will see the new iPlum number assigned to them in their iPlum app.
