Step 1: Create Your Account
You'll want to start off by creating a new account. There are a few phone line options for you to choose from when starting:
- New Number (USA, Canada, or 800 Toll-Free)
- Port existing line
If you're not sure what you want yet, you can also choose to create a free account now, and choose the line later.
Step 2: Select Your Number
Whether you choose a USA or Canada phone line you will enter either area code, local calling area, or the state/province.
Select which one you please, and enter in the proper information for it
- Area code needs 3 numbers
- Local calling area needs the first 6 numbers
Once you enter the information, you will be asked to select a number.
What If I Want a Toll-Free Line
With a toll-free line, you will be asked which 800 number prefix (800, 877, etc.) you'd like, then perform a search. You will then be shown multiple numbers and you can choose the one that works best for you.
Step 3: Setup Your Account
The next page is going to have you enter your current mobile phone number. You'll want to use the phone number on the phone you want to have the second line.
Your phone will then get a text message with a verification code. Enter that into the screen to verify your account.
The code expires within an hour, so be sure to enter the code in as soon as you get it.
Step 4: Finish Setting up the Account
Enter in your name, and additional information to finish creating your iPlum account.
Step 5: The Dashboard
Once your account is created, you will be taken to your dashboard.
