What is Shared Number?

Shared number feature allows team members to access multiple iPlum numbers in their web portal.

Example Use Cases:

·       Your customers send text or leave voicemail to your main iPlum number. You want multiple team members to respond to it.

·       You have a group of practitioners who take care of clients’ text in a collaborative approach.

·       You want to share the main fax line with multiple users for both sending and receiving fax.

How it works?

Administrators can enable sharing of one or more iPlum numbers with other iPlum users using web portal.  You can configure some or all the services to be shared: texts, contacts, fax & voicemail (calling will be available in web browser in next phase). The users can access multiple shared iPlum numbers in the web portal while their mobile app will continue to show their own iPlum number.

Note: Each user needs to have an active iPlum subscription to use shared number feature (Professional or Premium).

How to configure shared users in your iPlum admin account:

  1. Login https://my.iplum.com using administrator credentials.
  2. Dashboard || Users || Click iPlum Login ID of the line to share|| Settings || Share  Number (Edit) || Select other users to share this number.  Review services & permissions.
  3. Users can now access shared numbers in their iPlum portal.
